MiRO, a leading distributor of VoIP, IP Surveillance, and Wired & Wireless networking equipment is looking for a Junior ICT Trainer at our Centurion Branch. We are currently looking for a technical trainer to assist the training department with vendor certified training for our customers. Please note that customers pay for their seats on our training events, so it is of the highest importance that the incumbent be: Neat, well presentable, and able to interact effortlessly with different types of customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
Instructor-Led Training:
Ensure that information and files for the relevant certified training are loaded onto participant’s USB drives
Ensure that self-preparation of the training has been done
Site login details, exam keys are prepared
Set up training network is done prior to the start of the training
Reporting on any venue shortages to the branch manager/ training coordinator in a timeous manner
Facilitation of the certified training material using various methodologies
Ensure that participants remain engaged and are encouraged to participate in the training
Answering participants questions in a courteous manner
Timekeeping in class, ensure that the course is presented within the given time frame
Ensure that information is communicated in such a way that participants are ready to take the vendor certified exams
Proctor the exams accordingly
Ensure that students are aware of dates and arrange for possible rewriting of the exams
Ensure that feedback from the participants is done in the relevant format
Certified Trainer Status:
Keep status as Vendor certified trainer status based on vendor requirements
Obtain status as certified vendor training on new brands
Design and Development of New Training Materials:
Based on business requirements, develop new training materials to the MiRO level of standards
Ad-hoc Administrative Functions:
Answer customers queries and questions in a timeous and courteous manner
Ensure that training dates are planned and communicated to the HOD/Training Coordinator in a timeous manner
Ensure that travel request dates are communicated to the relevant department in a timeous manner
Required Qualifications
Grade 12
Own reliable transport with a valid South African Code 8 license (Advantageous)
Knowledge in the following fields would be advantageous, VoIP, Wi-Fi, Fixed Broadband Wireless, Networking etc.
A+ and N+ would be advantageous
Not critical but would be advantageous: MTCNA, UBWS, UBWA etc.
Required Experience
One to two years of training and presentation experience will be advantageous
Willing to travel locally and abroad
Other Skills
Computer literate – Must be able to work on Microsoft Outlook
Ability to present and communicate effectively at boardroom level

Must be a team player
Strong creative problem-solving skills
Strong time management skills
