All-rounder for mobile working
Snom’s M70, M80 and M90 handsets, alongside the new M900 base station, represent the most modern form of DECT communication for the digital age. The new, high-performance devices have been specially designed for use in everyday business and, depending on the model, are recommended for office use (M70), indoor and outdoor use (M80) or for use in hospitals and nursing homes (M90). All three models offer numerous advantages as opposed to conventional consumer solutions.
Perfect all-rounders: M70 and M80
The Snom M70 DECT handset is the ideal all-rounder for mobile work in the office, factory hall or outdoor environments. This compact model weighs a mere 120g, which includes a lithium-ion battery and integrated belt clip. Nevertheless, the M70 is durable enough to withstand unintentional falls from a height of up to 2 metres thanks to its high-quality workmanship and its protective cover.
Employees whose workplace is not only at their desk, but also on campus, in the warehouse or multi-storey car park, etc. are best-equipped with the equally lightweight and resistant M80 DECT model. This robust device has a heavy-duty casing and not only withstands falls of up to 2 metres in height but is splash water and dust resistant.
Clean and hygienic: the M90
The M90 white DECT handset has been specially designed to meet the requirements of hospitals and other healthcare facilities where cleanliness and hygiene are of high importance. The 136g lightweight, compact model is not only extremely robust and protected against dust, splashing water and falls from up to 2 metres in height, but it also has a special antibacterial surface. The material is easy to clean – therefore preventing the growth of bacteria and viruses on the surface.
Powerful features for more efficient work
All three new additions to the M-Series are equipped with a multi-colour, backlit TFT LCD screen, large navigation key, integrated Bluetooth, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for corded headsets. The integrated alarm button also increases employee safety in emergencies.
Numerous telephone functions – such as speed dial numbers, the ability to host two simultaneous calls or conference calls – 200 hours standby time and up to 12 hours talk time (broadband; approx. 17 hours standard) round off it's impressive offering.
The M70, M80 and M90 handsets are compatible with the M700 base station as well as the newly launched DECT M900 VoIP multi-cell base station. Other devices from the M series can also work with the M900 base station.
The DECT M900 VoIP multi-cell base station is a high-quality, powerful and easy to set up a control centre for wireless DECT coverage in large buildings with many floors.
Thanks to the integrated DECT manager, all calls can be transferred easily across several floors. Up to 4,000 registered base stations, 16,000 handsets and 100 repeaters can be connected in a multi-cell arrangement. The M900 is compatible with the M25, M65 and M85 handsets, as well as the subsequent models of the M series, and enables smooth, uninterrupted telecommunications with a radio range of 50 metres indoors and 300 metres outdoors. Other outstanding features of the M900 include OPUS codec support, DECT and LAN synchronization, PoE and power supply support, TLS encryption and local XML and LDAP phonebook support.
