Wireless service providers are constantly faced with the challenge of delivering reliable connectivity in overcrowded environments at the best possible price. We understand that finding the right broadband connectivity solution on a budget can be challenging but with Cambium Networks’ latest addition to their ePMP solutions range, service providers can enjoy the unparalleled performance, scalability, and frequency re-use at a compelling price.
Cambium Networks’ ePMP 3000L is the third-generation access point (AP) that upholds the interference-free technology and is designed for low-density areas such as gated communities or residential estates over a short distance.
Service providers can connect up to 32 subscribers and deliver wireless connectivity of up to 100Mbps per subscriber on Cambium’s best priced AC Wave 2 solution. The Cambium ePMP 3000L allows you as the network operator to leverage MU-MIMO which automatically groups stations together and allows for simultaneous communication with two connected stations at a time, as compared to previous generation TDMA, 802.11ac which still only allowed only one station to communicate at a time. This means more airtime efficiency, less possible packet collisions and ultimately higher data capacity. This new standard allows for higher channel bandwidths like 80MHz, making it ideal for the short-range, high data demand applications.
Cambium has been at the forefront of GPS sync solutions in Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) networks, giving you the flexibility to reuse frequencies in high noise environments. In addition, service providers can set front to back configurations on multiple access points on one high site to limit interference. For example, using ABAB configuration – one, a sector, will be configured as the front sector and the opposite, a radio, will be configured as the back sector – all these subtle nuances are used to limit self-interference.
