Take back control of your surveillance system with the Uniview 32Ch 308 NVR!

With the Uniview 308 NVR, you can now manually trigger a digital output from the NVR itself, making it ideal for applications such as access control where human judgment is needed to determine who is prohibited from entering and who is allowed to enter.

What other amazing features does the 308 NVR include?

Lower Bandwidth consumption and more storage space

H.265 is the latest, high-efficiency video coding (HEVC) standard for compression that allows you to save up to 50% more bandwidth than the previous H.264 standard. Also, the H.265 compression can save you up to 60% on storage space: videos with the same definition and duration will now only take up about 1/3 of the originally budgeted storage space.

Note: You will need an H.265 IP camera as well to make use of this feature.

Backwards compatible with H.264 IP Cameras

The UN-NVR308-32E supports h.264 cameras as well as H,265 compatible cameras, allowing users to connect with a mixture of H.264 and H.265 IP cameras. This means that you don’t have to upgrade your entire IP surveillance network, all, saving you time and money.

32 Channels

The UN-NVR308-32E can support a maximum of 32 cameras. This is perfect for large security projects that require a large number of cameras that are all managed through one central NVR.

High-Resolution footage

Another key feature of the UN-NVR308-32E is its 4K inputs and outputs. This means that you can now connect with and do recording from 4K IP cameras but without any drop in quality for perfect replay or real-time display on 4K monitors via its HDMI2 port. The NVR is able to record a maximum resolution of 8MP!

HDD Hot swapping

Due to the sheer size of the projects the UN-NVR308-32E needs to be able to handle, Uniview has fitted it with 8 bays to support a max of 6 TB SATA hard drives each. This means the NVR has a storage capacity of 48TB! Now, another factor that Uniview took into account was that when one or more of these SATA hard drives needs to be replaced they can’t switch off the NVR (you’ll be completely vulnerable during that period). So they’ve made the bays hot-swappable: you can replace a SATA hard drive without having to switch off the NVR!

12V Output

The NVR has built-in a 12V DC output port on the back panel so that you can direct power from the NVR to power a desktop device such as a microphone, speaker or alarm device.

Software

Uniview will provide you with free client software, including PC Client EZstation, the mobile app called EZView and access to the cloud service. Using these software tools you can easily access the NVR locally and remotely.
