Ubiquiti’s UniFi Enterprise Fortress Gateway—Now in Stock!

Ubiquiti has released a new line of products within the Enterprise segment of the ICT industry with phase 1 the Enterprise Fortress Gateway. Designed to provide IT professionals next level networking and cybersecurity abilities. The EFG is a revolutionary product not only in value but also in performance. By incorporating UniFi Network for full-stack network management, and full featured routing and security. 

The 25G Cloud Gateway supports over 500 UniFi devices and 5,000+ clients, featuring 12.5Gbps IPS routing and complete high availability. It runs UniFi Network for full-stack network management and includes Shadow Mode High Availability with automatic failover (VRRP) for uninterrupted connectivity. With 12.5Gbps routing and IDS/IPS, it offers license-free, real-time inspection of encrypted packets using NeXT AI Inspection (SSL/TLS decryption). The EFG is equipped with 2 x 25G SFP28, 2 x 10G SFP+, and 2 x 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, all LAN/WAN remappable, and is equipped with the 2 hot-swappable PSUs for power redundancy.  In addition, it features a 1.3” touchscreen for easy monitoring and management. 

UniFi Gateway: NeXT AI Inspection

NeXT AI Inspection utilises SSL/TLS decryption to intercept encrypted traffic and analyse its contents for security monitoring or filtering purposes. This process happens in real time which offers enhanced security, improved network performance and improved accuracy with enhanced AI algorithms, by detecting the smallest defects and inconsistencies that might be missed by the human eye or traditional inspection methods.

Basic IPS/IDS (Intrusion Prevention and Detections) signatures are free of charge. Ubiquiti does however offer the option of Enhanced Threat updates which can be activated through Site Manager. This increase the quantity of signatures by 5x and provides real time signatures as new threats are discovered. 

Coming soon: Inline sandbox: Inline sandboxing is a cybersecurity technique where suspicious files or programs are executed and analysed in a controlled environment (sandbox) before they are allowed to run on the main network. This approach assists in detecting and mitigating potential threats in real-time by isolating and examining the behaviour of potentially malicious code without affecting the actual system. If the sandbox identified the code as malicious, it can block it from reaching the main network, thereby enhancing the security of the system.

Enterprise Partner Program: We are proud to be one of Ubiquiti’s exclusive distributors for the Enterprise products and in-line with Ubiquiti’s requirements, all purchases are required to be registered through the UniFi Enterprise Partner Program.

When registered with the program, resellers get additional benefits such as dedicated pre-sales support and access to Ubiquiti hosted online training and events. In addition, once approved, registered MiRO dealers will be eligible for additional discount on the Enterprise hardware.

Direct resale restriction:  These products are restricted for resale exclusive by professional installers on a project basis. They are not permitted to be resold or distributed through online platforms or traditional retail stores. This restriction is due to MiRO’s partnership with Ubiquiti.

Project application: To purchase the UniFi Enterprise products, you are required to register your project and must be approved by Ubiquiti before the products can be sold.

  • The application will be reviewed by Ubiquiti and no goods can be purchased while under review.
  • The application approval process will take up to 24 hours.
