What is an ISP preset and its main features?

General Config: Easily upgrade the common configuration of devices to the default settings according to your requirements.

What is TR-069?

Technical Report 069 or TR-069, also known as CWMP (CPE WAN Management Protocol), is a technical specification of the Broadband Forum that defines an application layer protocol for remote managed and provisioning of customer premises equipment (CPE) connected to an Internet Protocol (IP) network. Simply put, using an ACS (Automatic Configuration Server) you can onboard your devices, and push configuration, and firmware updates from a central location.

What are the key features of TR-069?

Auto Configuration: When booted up, the CPE automatically requests the configuration from the ACS. The ACS also initiates the configuration when needed. Turning a service on/off becomes more flexible for you as the service provider.
Firmware upgrades: With TR-069, you can check the firmware version of the CPE through ACS and both identification and deployment of the firmware is done through the click of a button.
Device management: to manage the connected devices efficiently, TR-069 provides a grouping option to organize your CPE devices.
Troubleshooting: you can assist your customers in locating problems of their device remotely as well as perform troubleshooting online, reducing callouts while streamlining your tech support process.
Remote diagnostics: you can remotely monitor the CPE’s network status and performance.

The Mercusys Mobile Application:

The Mercusys Mobile Application allows your customers to manage their own Wi-Fi and is available for download for Android and iOS. Your customers can make changes to their Wi-Fi such as changing the SSID and or password, and if managed through TR-069, these changes will also update on your ACS.
