• Extended Recording Capacity:

Through the use of the Enhanced Retention feature, we can increase our recording capacity to years. This is done by deleting high quality recordings after a set period and retaining lower quality versions for long term local storage.

We can also expand our storage capacity through the introduction of remote storage options by using the Video Archiving feature. We can choose a more traditional option like a NAS but UniFi Protect also has direct support for cloud storage options like Google Drive, One Drive and Dropbox allowing for potentially unlimited storage.

• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

UniFi Protect prioritizes user security by introducing mandatory 2FA for all accounts through the use of the Ubiquiti Verify mobile application. This additional layer of protection safeguards your system from unauthorized access.
